Jori Daily Update

An update and an opportunity to support the Daily family during this time in Wichita: David and the family shared some encouraging news with us. Jori’s MRI came back clear, showing no brain injury. Yesterday, her intubation tube was removed, and she is now safely breathing on her own. We praise God for these answered prayers and for the progress Jori continues to make. Please continue to surround Jori, David, and their entire family with prayer in the days ahead.

This morning during worship, we also shared an opportunity to help support the family with expenses such as gas, meals, and other needs that may arise while they remain by Jori’s side in Wichita. An offering was received during the service, and anyone who would still like to contribute may write a check to Sharon Springs Methodist Church with “Jori Daily” in the memo line. Jaelyn is also getting a Venmo account set up so that we can send the funds we have collected directly to David and the family.

Thank you, church family and our community, for continuing to pray, encourage, and care for the Daily family during this difficult time. We give thanks to God for the good news we have received and continue trusting Him for Jori’s healing and recovery.

Oct 7th update;

David shared that Jori was able to take in some soft food and drink today. She’s more responsive and can raise her eyebrows and wink. She will also be moving out of the ICU and into a different room. Thank you, church family, for your prayers. God is good!!
